My kid is awesome

We took Henry to the Santa Ana zoo. We have been quarentined for the last 2 weeks with illness, so we needed to get out.

Here's proof we were at the zoo.

The zoo was fun, but this isn't really about the zoo. It's about the kids at the zoo. I know that every parent thinks their kid is the greatest, but today the universe seemed to be handing all the cool points straight to Henry.

Here is exibit A:

This kid is in the playground at a zoo, I don't know, maybe you keep your shoes on? And he wasn't the only kid without shoes on! Secondly, the Luigi polyester hat left over from Halloween. I think it's time to put that away, and it is making your head all sweaty. Perhaps, that's why you feel the need to take your shoes off. But, the nuttiest part about this kid was his beard. Yep, beard. It's hard to see it in this picture, but it looked like he had black shoe polish smeared all over his face. Turns out his dad also had a beard, and if this was his way of copying his dad, it does make it a bit more acceptable. I mean, it is cute when a son imitates his father, but combined with the afor mentioned offenses just makes a trainwreck.

There was also the round faced kid with a massive buger climbing down his face. And the naughty kid that hid in the corner throwing sand at other kids and calling them snowballs. And finally, the girl with the with the long curly mullet, also without shoes, she was a pusher.

I know, it is not polite to make fun of others, but it was just too easy today. Henry was a little shiny beacon of perfection on the playground. When he refused to get on the merry-go-round, well, that was a different story.
