It's hard to believe our Kane is almost 13. With a life expectancy of 8 years, Kane is a miracle. He is still super healthy and active, and we are thankful for him everyday. I let Henry walk him home today. He is still crazy on the first half of his walk, but takes a more manageable pace home. Henry has taken to saying "Best day ever" thanks to Elena and Tangled. I'm switching it to Best Dane ever, because he is.

Go White Sox
Poor little Kane lost not one but two toenails to the quick right before we were leaving. Thankfully, they looked fine and not infected, but in order to keep him from licking his paws, we had to keep him in Henry's socks. He was not a happy camper. Thankfully, Matt took good care of him, and he is healing up fine.

Henry and the pups
Henry loves his dogs. And for the most part, they love him. They are certainly more than tolerant of his antics. It's sweet to see him stop to give them hugs, in addition to sitting on top of them asking for rides. I'm sure there will be many more posts just like this, because it astonished me everyday.

Kane!
First off, I promise, most of the time Henry is dressed. I guess i have been taking lots of pictures before his bath, and although he runs around in just a diaper pretty often,I feel like this look is being over represented lately.
Henry often picks a dog and focuses on it. Today he heard Kane get up and started yelling "Kane, big, big dog!"
It then went to "Kane bridge! Hiding! Mommy, BRIDGE!"
I finally let Kane out, and relieved him of his construction responsibilities. It didn't stop Henry from anxiously awaiting his return. We have such a good, patient boy.
