Good News/Bad News

Good news, it looks like Banjo is going to be alright. She's still limping, but is putting pressure on that leg again. Keeping the crazy girl on bed rest was a little easier given my bad news.

I'm sick. It's spring break so it makes sense that I would get the flu that has been making it's way through my family. For those of you reading this without kids, enjoy your days of being able to have a true sick day where you get to sleep it off. I miss those kind of sick days. God bless Nick Jr and unopened birthday presents! Well, and when I do sleep it keeps Banjo off her leg. Bright side noted, bring on the theraflu.

Thank God that's over!

This was most of today.

This afternoon was a rough one for H. He was extremely irritated at nothing in particular, and this everlasting cold, isn't helping.

We had one little trike riding reprieve. That was good for me, but not for him. When he started whining and yammering, I knew he was capable of stopping, so I let him whine at me for awhile. After being told for the thousanth time, "I can't understand you, use your words". He looked up all flustered and pleaded "hug." This kid is good, he knows how to hit your soft spot. he happily went to bed early, so sleep must have been the medicine he really needed.

One more great one of Kane.

Bee Healthy

Henry is still battling his cold.  His cough is a little scary.  Thanks to all his birthday presents he stayed busy all day and didn't do too much complaining.  In spite of his quarantine he did make one new friend.  He was fascinated with this bee.  He must have watched him for 15 minutes. I love the way his little brain works.

Cuteness moment of the day, as I was making grilled cheese sandwiches, he looked up at me and said, "Mommy, no witches!" <3

Bring on the Germs

Well, all the fun and lack if sleep caught up with the little guy. Poor kid. By the time I got home from work, he seemed to be doing better, but did manage to cough/puke on me twice. Yuck!!!! Nothing a little coloring and yoga can't cure. Dub dub, random word of the day will fix anything. Maybe a full night of sleep too, please, full night! Fingers crossed!

He's a very careful artist.

Well, maybe not too careful. Washable markers are our friends.

Yoga boy, stretch those legs!
